Key Components of Your System

Underground Tank

This collects your grey water. It’s properly sized to hold enough water for use within 24 hours, ensuring freshness.

Disinfector

A vital unit that purifies the water, eliminating harmful pathogens and improving water quality.

Submersible Pump

A robust pump designed for “grey water” applications, it pushes the treated grey water to your irrigation system.

The Flow of Reclaimed Water

  • Greywater from your washing machines and bathroom fixtures is redirected into the system’s tank.

  • Before entering the system’s tank, it passes through a filter brush to catch hair, lint, and other solids.

  • Once the tank reaches a certain level, the pump activates, sending water through the disinfector.

  • A small portion of disinfected water is circulated back to the tank to maintain water quality & prevent odours.

  • The majority of the treated water is then pumped out for garden irrigation and other applicable uses.

  • An overflow connection to your sewer line acts as a backup during heavy usage or maintenance.

Important Note: Our greywater systems handle only greywater. Blackwater (from toilets, kitchen sinks, or containing fecal matter) is strictly excluded and must continue to be disposed of via your municipal sewer line, septic tank, or existing wastewater treatment plant.
